Here is the iconic place you can walk across the Mississippi River on rocks, and the first footbridge made from a tree trunk to cross the river.

The infant Mississippi flows under the first walking bridge. Just listen to the video to hear the beginning drops of water that will flow for 90 days to reach the Gulf Coast.
