Hot chocolate is a kid’s favorite drink after playing in the snow. My kids go outside in the winter just so they can come back in to a warm mug of their own.
Make your kids feel extra special with a hot chocolate decorated with a little whip cream, crushed candy cane and cocoa powder. It is so simple, look soooo good, and all it takes is about an extra 20 seconds to prepare.
One quick tip is to place a candy cane in a ziplock bag and hit with a kitchen hammer or the back of a large spoon until it is crushed to the size you want. Then pinch some cocoa powder and sprinkle it on top.
