Hi again! This is Chris from LiveDan330.com. We do reviews for various people and companies, but only ones we like. We turn a lot of opportunities down because we want to keep our blog full of good products only. Many of you know the Dan330 family does a lot of cooking, gardening, and finding great articles for you to read, and we are committed to that. You might not know that we are a pretty hard working, busy family. My four young kids keep my home life pretty busy and sometimes a little too interesting. Between training for long distance running, work, and caring for kids who like to play hard outside, we use Well at Walgreens for everything from vitamins, and allergies to pain relief.
At our house, the snow is finally disappearing, which means gardening can’t be far away! Yay! But it also means the 15 bikes, trikes, scooters, skateboards, and other summer toys have made it to my front garage. You know what happens next, right? Bumps, bruises, scraps, sore muscles, and tired kids. Then as June rolls around, the allergies kick in.

So how do we keep sane as parents? When we aren’t at the PTA or working, we like to run. Thank goodness for #WellAtWalgrens. First of all there is a Walgreens on almost every corner, so you can always find one. Second, Walgreens has everything we need to take care of our active lifestyle, and its free to sign up to be a Walgreens Balance Reward member.
After running the Twin Cities Marathon last fall, I had been nursing an injury (hamstring) all winter. I finally felt well enough to get out and try running for the first time in 5 months last week. Ouch. I got fat and out of shape this winter. I ran a short 2 mile run and I HURT. Afterward, I was off to the Arden Hills, Minnesota Walgreens.
I grabbed some Walgreens Pain Reliever Extra Strength Quick Gels 100 ct. for myself, then I picked up some children’s medicine for my youngest child who wasn’t feeling well (Walgreens Pain and Fever Children’s Suspension Liquid Bubble Gum 4oz and Walgreens infants pain and Fever).
Too much of the sandwich above, and not enough running made me get too out of shape. Now, I am back on track and I will be getting my pain relief from Well at Walgreens. I don’t feel like I get lost in a big box store, and I can count on a store being nearby even when I am traveling. I also like how they give back to the community. 1 cent from the purchase of every Walgreens Brand Health and Wellness product (up to $3 million annually) supports bringing preventative wellness services to communities. This Walgreens Way to Well Commitment® is already running and goes through December 31, 2014.
