Day 9 of our all-American road trip out West was our fourth and final day in BigSky. Grandma and Grandpa offered to watch the kids in the morning so Sarah and I could go for a hike.

We took a drive to the Beehive Basin Trailhead and started our hike to the basin of the Spanish Range. This hike was rated as one of the top ten in the world by Fox News in 2013.

After our hike, we met up with the family. The oldest two children went on a hike with Grandma and Grandpa, while Sarah and I made plans for the rest our trip. We were able to get rooms in Jackson, Rapid City, and in Mitchell again for our journey home. Something about having a plan to get home was very sad. 

After packing up for the next phase of our vacation, we went to bed early.IMG_0369web
