A Life-Notes Journal


A few years ago I purchased this large Moleskin to begin an experiment: keeping a ‘Life Notes’ journal, a sort of personal lightbox where I explore and remember the length and breadth of my life.

It’s a place to record places I’ve lived, memories of people I’ve known, stories unique to me, ideas, thoughts, beliefs, questions.

It’s a place to collect small snippets of beauty (particularly vintage illustrations), words, phrases.  I like how it honors the complexity of life in general and reflects what is important to me.
