DIY 72 hours kits
We hear about disaster preparation all the time, but do YOU take it seriously? I have a degree in emergency management, and still had never turned anything into action. Follow me at I’d Rather Eat a Cookie as I turn this around in 2015. Each month I fulfill one of the 12 categories for prepping that FEMA recommends for building a 72 hour kit for both our car and home. By building our kit over a year we don’t have to be over-burdened trying to figure everything out. We can also afford better products by purchasing only one category per month. The truth is, some of us live in areas that virtually never see disasters, but the reality is, it can strike at any given moment. We really ought to do our due diligence in preparing. Follow us on our journey here.
