Coconut Caramel Macchiato Magic Bars
Essentially these are magic bars. Aka: the world’s easiest dessert. I love magic bars for their simplicity and ease, their chewy texture, and {of course} their flavor.
These bars are an adaption of the traditional magic bar with a few substitutions. I used chocolate cookie crumbs rather than graham cracker crumbs for the base, to amp up the decadence and chocolatey richness.
Then, I swapped regular sweetened condensed milk for the Dulce De Leche flavored sweetened condensed milk {I used Eagle Brand}. Have you tried this stuff? It is velvety sweet caramel, in sweetened condensed milk form. Oh my…it is amazing!!
