Mount The Television

Sick of lying down in bed to watch television, but having to prop yourself up to see the screen? How about adding some modern flavor to your bedroom? All you have to do is get rid of the television stand.

So where’s the television going to go? On your wall. You’re going to mount the television on your wall, so it stays there, suspended. You can call a handyman to come do the mounting for you. If you’re feeling like trying it out yourself, you can do the mounting part.

What you have to remember is that televisions are heavy. If the mounting brackets aren’t strong enough or providing a counterweight, that television will fall right off the wall in minutes.

A New Bed

Maybe it’s not the room that’s looking stale. It could be just an uncomfortable bed making you grumpy. An old bed is easy to identify. The mattress is going to look dull and lumpy, and it must be total murder on your back.

How about trying out a waterbed as an alternative? You can find a range of them at Izonebed.com/water-bed. Waterbeds can do pretty good things for your back. You won’t be waking up grumpy anymore with one of these.

Rearrange Everything

Maybe it’s just the position of everything that isn’t working for you anymore. So how about you just take all the furniture and storage in your room and swap them all around. Flip your room entirely. If your bed was facing the door, now it’s next to it.

A change in your landscape can do wonders. You might even find the new configuration to be a lot more functional too. If you have a problem with early morning summer sunbeams hitting you and waking you up too early, why not move your bed into a darker corner?

Simplify

Your room maybe just be too cluttered. If that’s the case, it’s time for a cull. Take a good look at everything in your room and see if you need it. If possible, reduce your bedroom down to the absolute essentials and try and keep the extraneous stuff in another room.

Minimalism is key. The more clutter you have, the more boxed in you are going to feel. The design of your room could be totally fine. The real problem could lie in the fact there’s just too much of it.

Redecorate It All

If nothing is working for you, it’s time just to throw in the towel and start again. While redecorating every six months is not recommended, if your bedroom just isn’t working for you anymore, it’s time to grab the paint roller.
