Jalapeno Popper Recipe
This simple recipe only requires a few ingredients:
- 10 slices fried bacon chopped
- 1 packet cream cheese
- 1/4 cup green olives
- 2 dozen jalapeno peppers
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
Slice the jalapeno peppers in half, cutting off the stem. I recommend using a filet knife to cut out the seeds and membranes on the inside of the peppers. If you don’t want it too spicy, you can also rinse the peppers off. That will remove some of the spiciness.
Then, fry your bacon and chop it up. (You can start the bacon earlier, it takes about 10 minutes to cook)
In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, and chopped olives.
Fill the insides of the sliced jalapenos with the cream cheese mixture.
Then, sprinkle some cheese over the top and bake at 400 until cooked. Approximately 20 minutes.
