DIY Hostess Gift: Tipsy Wine Pine
It’s Christmas and that means it’s time to step up your hostess gift giving for your holiday parties! What do you think about this idea? You can make these Tipsy Wine Pines if you know the basics of knitting. Knit, purl, cable, cast on and bind off is all you’ll need to know for stitches. You’ll also need a cable needle and 4 doublepoint needles. I used size 2 needles and inexpensive yarn from JoAnn’s with a little sparkle. These little pines are easy to make and take about an hour while you’re enjoying some down time in front of your favorite show.
So if you have a friend who likes, I mean loves her wine, take a hostess gift of a bottle of wine and add a Tipsy Wine Pine. It’s the perfect gift!
Get the pattern here, at Simply Notable for free, as they kindly have let us use their original pattern. They call their pattern Pint Sized Pines in a Cork Forest. After you’ve enjoyed your wine with friends you can put your pines on the corks and create a little forest of happy memories together.
