Madrid is a cosmopolitan, vibrant city. Whatever pace you like to holiday at, Madrid will have something to suit you. From museums housing famous artworks to exclusive boutique hotels, Madrid is a very modern European city. Enjoy sharing tapas together in a street cafe, or why not dine out experience some history? Try Tienda de Vino.  The sawdust floor of the bar may not be luxurious carpet. Don’t let that deter you! The wood panelled dining rooms of this classic restaurant hold historical significance.  The food is delicious. Traditional Spanish cooking at it’s very best. Do be careful on the underground train system, certain parts of Madrid are notorious for pick pockets!

London is top tourist destination from people all over the world, but don’t let that put you off. From the Tower of London to Buckingham Palace, London is rich in tradition. It’s not all about pomp and ceremony  – London is hub of culture and has a thriving underbelly of counterculture. There isn’t anything you can’t find in London. If you want Opera or Heavy Metal, it’s there waiting for you. The West End is the original Theatreland. There is also the London Eye, an enormous Ferris type wheel where you can see the magnificent views across central London and beyond from up high.
