7 Great Plants for a Straw Bale Garden

Squash is one of my favorite foods. We grew spaghetti squash, butternut, and these acorn squash. The cool thing with the acorn squash was that it grew right up this trellis and it was fun for the kids to walk through to pick. I liked it because the hanging fruit made them ripen very well as it kept them off the ground.
