Slow Cooker Pot Roast Recipe with Root Vegetables
This a hearty healthy and probably the easiest recipe you’ve seen yet. A friend of mine shared this idea with me years ago when I was raising my kids. Back then people didn’t use slower cookers as much as they do today. In fact, I used to make this recipe, also known as “Busy Day Pot Roast,” in the oven.
Way back before crockpots were super popular, a friend of mine shared one of her family’s favorite meals called, ‘Busy Day Pot Roast.” This was made in a large oven roasting pan on low heat, so that at the end of the day, you could easily get dinner on the table will minimal effort.
