Trail Mix Bars
A healthy and hearty DIY snack bar that is filled with nuts, dried cranberries, seeds and a whole lot of protein! These gems are also gluten-free, dairy-free, and easy to make!
I filled these bars with gluten-free oats, eggs, almond milk, flax seeds, chia seeds, bananas, maple syrup, chopped almonds, peanuts, raisins and dried cranberries. It is like trail mix on steroids. There is so much nutrition packed into one little bar. It is a satisfying, tasty treat that even will fill up a growing boy! Which trust me, that is hard to do!
These bars are also a PERFECT post-workout snack as they are full of potassium, protein, calcium, and fiber–all which aid in recovery.
