Kielbasa with Peppers and Onions
These kielbasa sausages with onions and peppers are a great tailgating food tradition. Simple to clean up and packed with flavor, they may be you next lucky charm.
These Grilled Kielbasa Hoagies with Peppers and Onions fit the bill perfectly. They can be made on an open grill or even at home on the stove. And they are packed with flavor. Although my husband is a huge fan of sauerkraut, I can’t stand the stuff. He tops his hoagie with sauerkraut and I opt to stick to mustard. That is what makes simple recipes great. They are so easy to customize.
As always, I will add a few tips. These hoagie sandwiches can be made at home in a skillet as well without much change from the original instructions. If you do not have a skillet or foil pan to cook over an open flame, the onions and peppers can be wrapped in aluminum foil packs while the kielbasa is grilled separately.
