Sweet and Salty Snack Mix

A Sweet and Salty Snack Mix will make a great addition to any game day gathering. Serve it in cute, decorated bowls that can be put together in a snap! Learn how you can sweeten your spread with this simple game day recipe and tutorial.


Making the snack mix is super easy. Simply heat the butter and marshmallows in a pot until completely melted. Pour it over the popcorn and pretzel and stir it gently. I like to use a rubber spatula and stir in a slow folding motion. Then add in the candies and sea salt.

The marshmallow syrup concoction will make the popcorn soft and sticky while the pretzels maintain their crunch. It’s a pleasant contrast in texture and flavor.
