Slow Cooker Barbecue Wings

Slow Cooker Barbecue Wings

Crockpot Barbecue Wings will change the way you look at wings and your slow cooker, an easy, delicious, gluten-free crowd pleaser!

You guys, this recipe was the source of debate for many days in my house.  It was hysterical when I told Mr. Hungry I was making wings in the crockpot he immediately protested.  That won’t work, they will fall apart, they will become shredded, you are going to WASTE an entire batch of wings.  I figured the million people that had crockpot recipes on Pinterest couldn’t be wrong, so I forged ahead determined to prove him wrong.  Oh, and prove him wrong I did! Just in case you don’t believe me either, proof –>

Now he was right in the sense that I couldn’t mess with them too much while they were cooking, for fear they would turn into shredded meat.  He was wrong in that they wouldn’t be good and an entire batch of wings would be wasted.  In fact, they were so good we both swore this would be the only way we would make wings from now on.  Now, if you are in the wings have to be crispy camp, you will not like these and don’t care if they work in the crockpot.  On the other hand, if you like super easy recipes that provide tender sweet and smokey, fall off the bone, chicken then you will love this recipe!
