Just 3.3 percent of boards on Pinterest are tagged in the “Humor” category. While the number of Pinterest users who frequent the humor category is relatively small, some of the most popular boards in this category have several hundred thousand followers. Humor is my favorite category.
Just like the board “Things I won’t do”, the board “Things that make you go Hmmm” was inspired by a picture I came across looking for something with a completely different theme. That’s part of the fun of Pinterest. If you spend the time trying to find that perfect image, sometimes you come across the crazy funny stuff by accident. Maybe it is my warped view of the world. Maybe it’s my age showing. It seems that as I have gotten older, I find more and more things that make me go Hmmmmm and cause me to chuckle just a little.
Signs that are confusing. Fashion that shouldn’t be. People doing foolish things. Cleverly set up photos that make me laugh. This board is a collection of images of people and things that sometimes make me wonder if we all getting just a little dumber.
Rather than worry about the path the human race has taken, I guess the best thing to do is look at the pins on this board and enjoy them for what they are. After all Laughter is the best medicine.
