We took a trip to the cabin a couple of days ago just to soak up the beauty of early fall to see the fall colors at Elbow Lake Lodge. It was heaven right down here on earth. I went to pick rocks for a photo shoot of my jewelry, but quickly became absorbed with the trees and mushrooms growing across the forest floor. Enjoy!

From huge trees to small flowers, there is so much to see and explore in Minnesota. I love this little yellow flower that was poking up in the moss. I put it on a fallen birch tree to photograph.
The fall colors at Elbow Lake Lodge are incredible. I just loved the moss growing on this wood.
