Tailgating Ideas for Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving week. Lots of food and lots of football.  Both BCS and AP have the undefeated Alabama, Florida State and Ohio State rated 1,2 and 3. In the pro ranks, Seattle has the best record at 10 – 1. Here are this weeks suggestions for the big game.

Here is a great finger food option for your tailgating party.

Sausage & Cheese Muffins

These smell awesome while their cooking and they won’t last long once their served. Here’s the full recipe.

Next up a great dip recipe. This works well with chips, crackers or vegetables. We think you should try:

Hissy Fit Dip: aka Mississippi Crack Dip

61f53edbc281e4682d46966f421a53ee

This takes a little time because it bakes for an hour after it’s mixed, but it is well worth the wait. Click here for the recipe.

With the cold weather maybe something hot would be a good choice. We recommend this

Easy Creamy Buffalo Chicken Quinoa Bake

ff3e18ea93b7fb0146828c8577fffde8

A little more involved than some recipes. We think you will agree that the time invested is worth it. Check out this recipe.

And for the grand finale here’s another great dip idea:

Mississippi Sin

59612dbf0ff216ba442bcf371fee28e0

This is similar to the “crack” recipe. We like this one better, especially served in a bread bowl. Here’s the recipe.

Have a great Thanksgiving weekend and may your favorite team win.
