
Admit it. This is one Christmas project that almost all of us have tried and had some level of success or disappointment. The retailers have tried really hard to make it easy for us offering a variety of different gingerbread house kits. I have even seen some special gingerbread house glue for sale.
When we are tempted to try a craft like this it is usually inspired by an image we have seen on package or one we have seen online.

Let’s take a look at some other peoples attempts at making a gingerbread house.

The wrappers are really a nice touch with this one.
Not quite sure why there is so much frosting on the front.
Robin’s Egg Blue is a popular color for gingerbread houses.
Technically not a house but at least it is a winter sport.
This what I am concerned about when you are trying to recreate an image.
Here’s another one that just didn’t work out.
Even “gingerbread house glue” couldn’t help this one.
I don’t think I would want my face in the picture either.
Even if your gingerbread house efforts are a disaster, you can always throw it outside for the critters to enjoy.
