We just returned from a three week motorcycle trip. It is always great to get home until reality sets in. Tons of mail. Grass needs cutting. Branches down from wind and storms and the gardens are a mess. We have a cucumber plant that thinks it owns all the space in the kitchen garden. Then there are all the weeds. I don’t know why flowers and vegetables need so much TLC to look good but a weed can erupt in the tiniest crack and get huge in days. Seriously parts of the garden look like we haven’t tended to it in years. The big weeds I am just going to pull out at this point but the small wannabees are going to get it with one of these DIY Weed killer tricks I have found.
There are several weed killer tricks out there. Most of them are based on vinegar. We will start with a vinegar recipe I have tried and had reasonable luck with.
Meet the Dan behind Dan330. He started a Pinterest account in December 2011 while off on a leave from his day job as a captain on an Airbus A330. While traveling the world, Dan practiced his longtime hobby of photography and developed his eye for natural beauty and appreciation of great photography.
Continuing his love of exploration and great pictures, Dan added Pinterest to his daily routine; especially during the long Minnesota winters. His eye for great photography was recognized by the Pinterest community and in just under one year, Dan330 had attracted over one million followers.
Dan and his wife Laurie have three children, seven grandchildren and two grand puppies.
When not pinning, Dan loves to travel and participate in just about any outdoor activity. There are a few exceptions to this, but to find out what they are you have to go to the Dan330 board dedicated to “Things he won’t do”.
