There are only a few things that are better than a beautiful fall day. One is a perfectly grilled burger stuffed with cheddar cheese, wrapped in bacon and topped with guacamole on a fresh pretzel bun. This post has two recipes. A bacon wrapped hamburger recipe and another for homemade guacamole. The first thing you will want to do is get some fresh ground beef and call your friends over.
Fall, guacamole, and hamburger recipes are not meant to be enjoyed alone. This recipe will cook between 10 and 14 burgers depending upon the size you want to make.
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 1/3 cup panko or bread crumbs
- Montreal Steak Seasoning
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pound bacon
- Lettuce leaf
- 3 avocados
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cayenne
- 2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 6 to 8 cherry tomatos
- Pretzel buns
Directions:
1. Prepare your meat. Haha that sounded bad. Mix the ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs and the steak seasoning to taste (but don’t taste it, just add a few shakes). Honestly the best way to mix this is just get your hands dirty.
Make a small patty and indent the inside so it is almost like a bowl. Fill it with cheese and then cover it with more of the meat. One trick is to use a glass ramekin to help form a bowl.
Now, take some bacon. Oh yeeeeaah, bacon. Lay two slices next to each other and wrap them over the burger as shown:
Get your arteries ready. Now we are going to make the guacamole.
Mush up (that is a very technical term) three avocado’s, add the salt, cayenne, red pepper flakes, garlic cloves and worcestershire sauce.
Cut up and add 6 to 8 cherry tomatoes. You can garnish with them or mix them into the guacamole.

Ok, back to the burger. Grill the burger and make sure to cook the bacon on all sides.
When the burgers are done, slice the buns and add some lettuce.
Add the burger, top it with your fresh guacamole, and cover it with the top of your bun.
Enjoy!
