I was cruising around on Twitter when I saw this brilliant idea by Jim Beam; the Pumpkin Spiked Latte. Well, I thought, how hard could this be? I could just go to that coffee franchise and get a #psl and pour in a shot of Jim Beam, but I was too lazy to leave the house, plus THAT COMPANY won’t sponsor me, so I am going to show you how to really easily make one at home. Plus this way they are way better this way.

Makes about 8 glasses worth
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice (or use cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and allspice)
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- espresso shots (one for each glass)
Directions:
- Make the pumpkin part by heating the pumpkin and spices in a saucepan. Then When mixed, add the sugar. Heat and stir until it looks like a thick syrup.
- Make the whipped topping by mixing the cream and vanilla in another saucepan. When warm, transfer to a bowl or blender and mix or blend with an electric mixer. It will be done when it is gets frothy.
- In a mug pour in a shot of espresso, a spoonful of pumpkin mix, a shot of Jim Beam, and top with the whipped toping.
- Garnish with cinnamon and sprinkle a bit of the spice for looks.
- Enjoy!!!!!!!
For the record, Jim Beam is not sponsoring this, but we loved their idea so we gave them a mention. Hey brands! Look how many shares we get. How about sending some love our way!
