it’s Cold Frame time again
I had to close the lid on my cold frame early this year. October 15th is the average date of the first Fall frost in my area. But, the garden already had a mild frost on the morning of October 4th. Those of you in colder regions have likely had frost even earlier. This is a good time of the year to extend the growing season for some cool-weather crops by using a Cold Frame.
