Sweet and Savory Sloppy Joe from Spiceé Gourmet

Spiceé Gourmet is an affiliate of Dan330.com. It has gourmet spice blends, rubs, and flavors designed by bloggers for everyday family cooking. Today, we are using Spiceé Gourmet’s Sweet and Savory Salmon Rub to make an everyday sloppy joe a little more exciting. This rub is a brown sugar base with an excellent blend of herbs including thyme, and anise which adds a sweet, fresh, and light flavor to your cooking.

This sloppy joe recipe has been loved by our kids for years. It is one of their favorites and it is very easy to make. Use this meal when you are in a hurry or just don’t have a lot of time for a big dinner. We served this with a side of broiled broccoli and fruit in these pictures. For dessert we had strawberries and cream sprinkled with sugar. It is a wonderful, quick meal.
