There are a lot of simple ways to make a great salad. This recipe will show you how to make a great whipped fresh salad. If you are following along with our series on straw bale gardening, you have lots of lettuce to use up. This is a great way to do something a little different with it.
To make the whipped dressing, combine one cup of heavy cream with 1/3 cup sugar, a few shakes of salad vinegar, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper.
Stir vigorously until it becomes whipped.
Add the whipped dressing to a bowl of lettuce and garnish with nuts and berries.
