These buttery tarts are made with crunchy, roasted pecans and a brown sugar filling in one bite. These sweet treats can always be found on my cookie tray particularly during the holidays. With Easter right around the corner, these are the perfect serving size when you need a little something sweet.
Known in the south as Pecan Tassies these pecan bites require fresh pecans. They are easy to make and are a favorite in my house from Thanksgiving to Christmas. I also like to share them on a tray during an Easter brunch or Derby celebration. I always make plenty and they freeze amazingly well.
