Nothing in the world makes me think “summer” more than the word s’more. Every summer I look forward to stocking up on Hershey’s chocolate bars, marshmallows, and graham crackers so I can get my s’more on. But for a long while I lived in an apartment where small fires are generally frowned upon. With that being the case I had to get creative with my marshmallow toasting skills.
I’ve used the microwave, the stovetop, and the oven. And let me say that there isn’t much that’s more satisfying than smooshing a gooey marshmallow between two graham crackers and watching as the chocolate melts and the marshmallow oozes around your fingers. You won’t even notice until you go to get in your car or change the TV channel or make dinner and find your hands all sticky.
