Before we walked to the headwaters, I have to confess that I had to knit a couple of rows. It was such a perfect spot!
To give you an idea of the Minnesota portion of the Mississippi, we took a picture of this map displayed outside the Center. Click on the photo to enlarge and see how the Mississippi starts going northward to Bemidji, over to Grand Rapids, and finally southward to Brainerd, St. Cloud, Mpls-St.Paul and southern Minnesota.
